No caregiver should journey alone
Fireside Village is a private community for people caring for someone they love. Find useful information, real conversation, and people who understand the day you just had.
WHY FIRESIDE EXISTS
Caregiving is hard. Carrying it alone makes it harder.
Sometimes you need an answer. Sometimes you need a person. Often, you need both.
Caregivers can find information almost anywhere. What is harder to find is a place where someone understands what it means to live with the responsibility every day. Public groups can be crowded, noisy, and unpredictable. Clinical websites can provide useful information, but they cannot sit with you through a difficult decision or remember what you were worried about yesterday. Friends and family may care deeply without truly understanding the experience. Over time, caregiving can become deeply isolating and lonely. The result can add stress, depression and sometimes declining health for the caregiver.
Fireside Village is a place where caregivers can finally feel understood. A place filled with people who understand the long days, difficult decisions, unexpected moments, and emotions that come with caring for someone you love. Here, conversations can grow into friendships, and familiar faces can become meaningful relationships with people who truly understand this part of your life. There is comfort in being among people who simply get it. Come sit by the fire with a warm cup of coffee. Share your day, tell a story, laugh when you can, or simply enjoy the company. Fireside Village is a place to belong, build friendships, and feel the warmth of knowing: these are my people.
A private village without the noise.
The internet can be an exhausting place when you are already carrying enough. Social media platforms compete for your attention with endless feeds, algorithms, advertisements, arguments, and people trying to build an audience or sell something. Helpful conversations can disappear beneath whatever gets the most reactions, while strangers, scams, and solicitation make it harder to know whom to trust. A simple question can turn into twenty conflicting answers and an argument you never wanted to be part of. For caregivers looking for genuine connection and useful conversation, all that noise can make finding a comfortable, trustworthy place harder than it should be.
Fireside Village is different by design. We are an exclusive, private community for caregivers, and we simply do not allow that behavior here. No solicitation. No businesses hiding sales pitches inside conversations. No influencers chasing followers, and no algorithm deciding what deserves your attention. Our standards are clear, and everyone enters through the same front door. Fireside is intentionally quieter and more personal, giving people room to know one another and build trust over time. We protect the character of the Village because it matters. When you come inside, you should feel the difference. The noise stays outside.
A quick tour of some of the places to visit inside the village
The Village Square
The Village Square is where caregivers come together to talk about caregiving. Share what is happening, ask questions, compare experiences, or talk through something with people who understand the road you are on. It is the central gathering place for the conversations that brought us all to Fireside Village.
Live Events
Live Events bring the Village together in real time for conversations, useful discussions, special guests, and shared experiences. Join other members to learn something new, explore a topic together, ask questions, or simply spend some time with the community. Some gatherings will be informative, some conversational, and some simply a good time.
Find Local Resources
Finding the right help close to home can be difficult, especially when you are already carrying the responsibilities of caregiving. Find Local Resources helps you discover services, programs, organizations, and support available in your area. Whether you are looking for respite care, transportation, meal programs, caregiver support, or other practical assistance, Fireside can help you find places to start and connect you with resources that may make the road a little easier.
The Coffee House
The Coffee House is a relaxed gathering place for good conversation, music, laughter, and time spent with friends. Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, share a story, talk about your interests, or simply enjoy the company. It is a comfortable corner of the Village where people can unwind, have fun, and get to know one another.
Find Your People
Find Your People helps you meet other members caring for someone in circumstances similar to yours, whether you share a condition, relationship, situation, or stage of caregiving. It is a way to find the people who understand your particular road and build meaningful relationships within the larger Village.
Fireside Village grew out of my own experience as a caregiver. I know what it is like to love someone, take responsibility for their care, search for answers, make difficult decisions, and sometimes feel very alone while doing it. Those experiences are a big part of why this Village exists. I wanted to create the kind of place I wish I had during the difficult days: somewhere caregivers can find useful help, real friendship, a little laughter, and people who truly understand. I am not building Fireside and disappearing behind the scenes. I will be here in the Village with you, listening, participating, and doing my best to make this a place where caregivers feel welcome and at home.

Featuring
Ask Jackson
Jackson is Fireside Village’s trusted AI caregiver companion, built specifically for our community. Ask him a caregiving question, get help finding information, work through something that feels confusing, or use him to help figure out where to start. Jackson is available whenever you need him, including the quiet hours when the rest of the Village may be asleep.
Jackson does not replace the people of Fireside Village. He is another member of the team, there to help when you need a little direction. You can bring him a question you have been struggling with, ask him to help make sense of something you have read, or simply tell him what is going on and let him help you think through what to do next. You do not need to know the right words or even the right question. Just start where you are, and Jackson will meet you there.
THE VILLAGE LIBRARY
Caregiving comes with questions, decisions, and situations you may never have expected to face. The Village Library brings useful information together in one place, so you do not have to search all over the internet every time you need help. Whether you prefer to read, watch, or explore trusted resources on your own, the Library gives you a comfortable place to start and something useful to come back to when the next question arrives.
ARTICLES & BOOKS
Sometimes you need more than a quick answer. Articles & Books offers practical reading about the situations caregivers face every day, along with books and longer resources worth knowing about. From understanding a new challenge to preparing for a difficult decision, this is where you can slow down, learn more, and find information you may want to return to later.
VIDEOS
Not everyone wants to read another article after a long day. Videos gives you another way to learn, with helpful explanations, conversations, demonstrations, and other caregiver-focused content you can watch at your own pace. Sit down with a cup of coffee, press play, and spend a little time with information that may help make something clearer.
USEFUL WEBSITES
There are excellent organizations, government programs, nonprofits, and other resources available to caregivers, but finding the right ones can be difficult. Useful Websites brings trusted places together so you have somewhere to begin when you need reliable information or outside assistance. Instead of handing you the whole internet, we help point you toward websites that may actually be worth your time.
